I used two color theories for this project. First was about complimentary colors: greens and reds. I repeated the red color in the image to create color balance. I also used colors close on the color wheel: greens and blues.
I also faced a problem with my computer at home, as it didn't want to work properly with the file. So many objects and patterns in the project made the work so slow, it was almost impossible. I had to save a png file with half of my work done and use it as a background for the second half of my project.
The RAM woes! But this turned out really good. I especially like the different chip patterns you used. The Organic mixed with the Tech. Great use of color and your final result is very cool.

ReplyDeleteI struggled with my file getting too large and becoming painfully slow as well. I think this might have been a common problem with this project. I also exported my image and brought it back in to work on top. Your work is very good!
ReplyDeletethis, in many way reminds me of mecha animes from the 80's-90's. I know I know the character but i cant put my finger on it, outside of all of that, i really like the broken up feel of the armor, yet it feels like it is one unit. i love this

ReplyDeleteThis is really great! I love how the "robot" appears to be doing something very sinister here. All the patterns are very good and work well together. I know there were some comments about the computer chips floating around in the foreground. I think if some of them were going off the frame it might make more sense. But all in all I think this is one of the best for this project.
