I can see this as conveying "dull" "business" or "workaholic"- which is totally cool. I love clipping masks and I think how you used them is nice. My only thing would probably try to fit a different picture into each letter? It seems the M is by itself while the other letters both share pictures and it looks a little odd.
Looks like you really dislike the daily grind and boring office jobs haha. Good job with this image it turned out real clean. From the looks of it I'd say you are an entrepreneur.
Marja, you nailed it! The boring work-a-day world that you so desperately want to avoid. I applaud you. Stick with your dreams . . . they will serve you well in the long-run. Great Job!
I like the idea here very business like. Maybe one idea might be to add a stroke to the text to help it pop and not get lost with the images being used. nice work!
My only problem with this design is that J and A look too far away from each other, but letter kerning isn't something we yet studied in this class. Otherwise I really like it. I like how the name changes its color from darker to light.
Looks very business like. I think a thin border around each letter would look good here.

ReplyDeleteGood job on this. I think you could be better if it was a bit easier to read.
ReplyDeleteMarja,
ReplyDeleteThe suit and noose necktie are a great image. It feels stuffy and I don't think you need to add anymore images to it, I get the picture.

ReplyDeleteLove the color transition from black to white with the splash of red. But you do have a little image overlap on the A.
