Okay guys, I am a HUGE fan of DC Comics. I love all the movies that come off their characters, many of the stories of the New 52, and overall I just prefer DC to Marvel. Not that Marvel is bad, but that I just prefer DC (before everyone starts shoving their love of Marvel down my throat, I figured I'd clarify). Because of my interest in the company and its' Heroes- I am a bit biased on the logo right off the bat. This is the new DC logo, the previous one is much more well known, but because this is the current logo I chose this version to post.
What I think makes this logo really... for lack of better words- cool, is that they've manipulated the letters to look like the "pages" of one of their comic books. The D is folded forward slightly to reveal the C disguised as the next "page". The colors are appealing, easy to find on the covers of the comic if you're looking for it among the imagery of their popular super heroes. It's simple, clever, and easy to identify.
