Jesus Venegas' logos

Older Woman

This is Endur. An anti-wrinkle lotion to keep looking young!
This is for the older men product.

I have always noticed a lot of senior citizens ride down Brown Rd And Center on their Jazzys. My friends and I called it "Jazzy Highway." So this is where the idea came from. I used the star drawing tool to make the star. The ellipse tool for the wheel and I used the pad and pen to draw the flames, then just colored it all in. I used the font that I thought would fit best. I don't remember the name of it but it's from the ones that are already in Illustrator.

25 year old male product

So this is "nosquare." A logo I came up with for what could represent a skateboarding clothing line.  Usually those companies have very simple logos and names that are easy to remember. This is what I aimed for with this. I only used the shape drawing tools and chose a cool font for the text.

9 year old girl

This is "OMG!" A toy store filled with the coolest and latest toys just for girls. I tried to come up with a really simple name and logo. I used the rectangle tool for the background, ellipse tool for those circles, I used the pen tool to create the giant exclamation point. Finally I added the text and colored it all in.

  1. The Jazzy Highway . . . funny. I like the colors in OMG and the way the exclamation point makes like an open mouth. Very nice.

  3. The black and white is in my opinion the best in the group. It so important to give your logo natural negative space. If you where to as a thin line of negative space in between the different colors of your logos the contrast would be for better and the design will feel more organized.

  5. The OMG! is fantastic and I could totally hear my daughter going APE sh*t over finding something in her own store. Well done. Colors are great also.

  6. Good job using appropriate fonts for each group. I like the Black and White design because it shows good balance. The OMG was comical and perfect for the next generation of kids.

  7. Good job with the choice of colors and fonts. On the black and white logo, I would change the distance between the graphic and text, either moving the text a little down, or moving it even closer up.

  8. Nice job with all four of them they came out clean and well put together. I was immediately drawn to the hot rod logo. The simple shapes and the bright colors looks really awesome and nicely put together. I also enjoy the no square logo the use of space using the negative and positive looks really cool. nice job!

  9. I like the OMG logo, especially the tag line. "It's Here" can mean that it has arrived, and that it's at this store.
